Here’s the material I used in this video:
Videos are huge these days, they are everywhere. It’s a good idea to include video in your content marketing strategy.
Videos can help get traffic, thanks to Youtube and other video sites. They’re also an excellent way to build a stronger connection with your audience, especially with talking head videos. When people see your face and you are addressing them directly, people feel like they are getting to know you.
In my experience, videos also help with conversion.
Producing White Background Videos
So you should produce videos. And white background videos look good. It’s possible to make them without having a lot of equipment and without being a pro. Basically you need; a white background (I think it would work on a white wall but a backdrop is better), strong lights, a decent camcorder and a good editing software.
When you shoot your video footage, have as much light as possible lighting the background. Keep the shadow and the wrinkles on the backdrop to a minimum. Don’t wear white! Wear darker colors, black is obviously a good choice.
Then upload your files to the editing software. What you want to do now is to boost the whites of the image. In a Vegas Movie Studio, I apply the White Balance effect and boost brightness. Then, I apply the Color Correction effect and add Saturation to give my face better colors. If your using a different editing software, you’re going to have to do some digging around to find the effects or functions. You can google something like “how to boost whites in final cut pro” for instance.
Render the video, upload it to Youtube or another video site, embed it on your site and that’s it! You now have a video a video that looks great and that connects to your audience in a different, more intimate way.
